JOE GARCIA UNVEILS ‘JOE IS FOR JOBS’ ECONOMIC PLAN
While Rivera Voted for Tax Increases, Reckless Spending, Garcia Stands for Small Businesses, Middle Class Families
As Republican David Rivera is embroiled in personal scandals involving witnesses saying he attempted to hijack a mail van carrying his opponent’s fliers on Miami’s busy Palmetto Expressway, Joe Garcia has unveiled a bold economic plan to get South Florida back to work. The fiscally responsible economic plan, titled “Joe is for Jobs,” offers 25 ideas, including 12 tax cuts to stimulate small businesses and middle class families, along with significant cuts in wasteful spending. ‘Joe is for Jobs’ was created with the help of a bipartisan group of small business owners, working families and business leaders. Eric Jotkoff, spokesman for the Campaign for Accountability 2010, issued the following statement: “‘Joe is for Jobs’ is Joe Garcia’s bold plan to grow our economy, create jobs and cut wasteful spending. Joe’s plan has big job-creating ideas, but it also addresses the everyday needs of families by offering child care and college tuition tax cuts.” Jotkoff added “When it comes to the economy, voters will have a clear choice. Joe Garcia will grow our economy and get middle class families back on their feet, while David Rivera has a record of raising taxes and fees on the middle class. Rivera is reckless and dangerous.”
