Chairman Smith Congratulates Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown As He Takes Office

Florida Democratic Party Chairman Rod Smith released the following statement congratulating Mayor Alvin Brown as he takes office as Mayor of Jacksonville, Florida’s largest city.

“I would like to congratulate Mayor Alvin Brown today as he takes office as Mayor of Jacksonville.

“Alvin Brown continues showing himself to be the leader Jacksonville needs to move the city forward. He understands that quality public schools attract quality jobs, and is focused on making sure every child in Jacksonville can reach their God-given potential by ensuring they have a quality education.
