As Rick Scott wraps up first week deceiving voters on campaign trail, Florida Democrats release “Self Serving Scott” Spotify playlist
“Who Let the Dogs Out,” is early playlist hit
As Rick Scott wraps up his first week of traveling the state deceiving voters and lying about his record as governor, the Florida Democratic Party suggests a new Spotify playlist Scott could play at his events. Florida Democratic Party spokesman Sebastian Kitchen released this statement about FDP’s attempt to assist Rick Scott in creating a more fitting campaign playlist.
“Just five days into his U.S. Senate campaign, Florida voters have learned more about Rick Scott’s self-serving politics that have grown his wealth at the expense of Floridians, reminding them that Mo’ Money surely does mean Mo’ Problems. Rick Scott may be a smooth criminal, but he can’t run from his record of cutting public education and Medicaid, while looking out himself.”
The playlist highlights some of the greatest hits from Rick Scott’s time as CEO, candidate and governor including his adoption of a dog in the 2010 governor’s race, which was returned after the campaign; pleading the fifth 75 times because he refused to answer questions about his involvement in his company’s $1.7 billion Medicare fraud and his consistency in putting himself ahead of Floridians.
