Florida Democratic Party Chair Rizzo Statement on President Trump's Visit to South Florida

Today, the Florida Democratic Party Chair Terrie Rizzo released the following statement ahead of President Trump’s visit to South Florida:

“Donald Trump keeps coming to Florida, and Floridians keep telling him he isn’t welcome here. As of November, 55 percent of Florida voters disapprove of Trump, because he has threatened seniors’ Medicare and Social Security, rolled back environmental protections needed to preserve our state’s natural treasures and made it harder for working families to get by in our state.

He can’t deceive Florida voters and try to buy an election in our state. Floridians see a president that doesn’t works for them, but thinks only of himself, and Florida will vote him out of office next November.”
