On infrastructure
- The voters aren’t just going to see us a few months before election day, they are going to hear from us year round. We are going to build a year round infrastructure in Florida.
- The Florida Democratic Party is going to run like a well oiled machine
- The work that is happening on the ground in places here like Duval is what we need to replicate and build across the state. The power of consistent grassroots organizing can not be underestimated.
On 2022
- We have a fantastic stable of potential candidates here in Florida who are ready to run and lead in their positions. Now we just need to make sure that they get elected.
- Elections matter and when you elect the wrong people you get bad results, people get hurt, and over this past year because of COVID 19 people died because of failed leadership. If we want to see changes in Florida it is essential that we elect more Democrats.
On Vaccines
- DeSantis needs to stop treating the vaccine like a personal possession with better access for those with political connections. This is not a game.
- Communities of color and low income communities haven’t had access to the vaccine at the same level as communities with more connections.
