Florida Democratic Party Statement on President Biden and the First Lady’s visit to Surfside
In response to President Biden and the First Lady visiting the site of the Surfside building collapse today, Florida Democratic Party Chair Manny Diaz released the following statement.
“While the President and First Lady’s visit today is under deeply tragic circumstances, we are so grateful that they are coming to support the community and the families affected. Not only has the Biden administration responded swiftly with all of the resources necessary, but they have also shown that they truly care about those impacted by this tragedy. With this visit the President and the First Lady are exemplifying the compassionate, moral leadership that is so needed in times of crisis. Thank you for supporting our community President Biden and Madame First Lady.”
