Statement from Florida Democratic Party Chair Manny Diaz on Rosh Hashanah
In commemoration of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, Florida Democratic Party Chair Manny Diaz issued the following statement:
“The promise of a new year always fills us with optimism and hope, yet given the difficulties we have all lived through over the last twelve months, the chance at renewal and restoration offered by Rosh Hashanah is more poignant, needed and welcome than usual. May we take advantage of this opportunity to recommit to working together to continue rebuilding, to emerge from the trials of the past months with a renewed sense of purpose and to look forward, armed with hope and determination, to forge a brighter and sweeter new year. To all those who are celebrating, L’Shanah Tovah from all of us at the Florida Democratic Party.”
