Breaking: Marco Rubio Skips Hearing On Russian Aggression In Europe To Promote Himself On TV
Marco Rubio skipped another important hearing on the Russian invasion of Ukraine today, choosing instead to go on Fox News to promote himself. As the Commission On Security And Cooperation In Europe met to hear leaders in the Baltics discuss Russia’s threats to their security, Rubio’s chair on the Commission sat empty yet again.
“On top of voting against sending critical aid to Ukraine, Marco Rubio is failing to show up for his job to support our allies in Eastern Europe. Millions of people in Europe are counting on American leadership to help combat Vladimir Putin’s deadly invasion, but Marco Rubio is only focused on scoring political points to advance his own career,” said Florida Democratic Party spokesperson Grant Fox.
