Overturning Roe v. Wade Opens The Door To Marco Rubio’s Extreme Anti-Choice Agenda
Marco Rubio has spent years advancing an agenda that would force women to give birth no matter the circumstances of their pregnancy, and even imprison their doctors for providing reproductive health care. Today’s Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will lay the groundwork for Rubio to impose his extreme agenda of restricting reproductive health care nationwide.
“Marco Rubio has spent years introducing extreme legislation to interfere in women’s most private health care decisions and supporting the Supreme Court justices who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. The Court’s decision today will put women across the state of Florida at risk, and allow Rubio to pursue his dangerous agenda of throwing doctors in jail for providing reproductive health care and forcing victims of rape and incest to give birth,” said Florida Democratic Party spokesperson Grant Fox.

- Rubio introduced legislation to throw doctors in jail for providing reproductive health care.
- He has campaigned on pledges to support judges who will overturn Roe v. Wade.
- He has supported bans on abortion with no exceptions for rape, incest, or to protect the health of the mother.
- Rubio even supports legislation that could open the door to charging women who have miscarriages with murder and restricting access to contraception.
