FLORIDA DEMOCRATS DEFEND TROOPS AFTER RON DESANTIS INSULTS IN SOUTH CAROLINA
Today, during a campaign stop in South Carolina, Ron DeSantis attempted to reboot his flailing campaign by targeting what he calls “wokeness” in the military. In response, the Florida Democratic Party has issued the following statement:
“Ron’s absurd attacks on our military underscore how completely out of touch he is with his constituents,” said FDP Chair Nikki Fried. “Florida is home to twenty major military installations, and instead of figuring out legitimate ways to support the troops and families stationed there, Ron spends his time insulting their work while training his own paramilitary militia.
“Ron’s obsession with fabricated culture wars has made him ‘The Boy Who Cried Woke’, and even the most diehard conservative voters are getting sick of his schtick. He needs to end his embarrassing attempt at cosplaying a relevant politician and come home to deal with the property insurance mess he’s left us with in Florida.”
