As early voting begins in Florida today, the Florida Democratic Party has reopened their voter protection hotline (833) VOTE-FLA or (833) 868-3352. The hotline is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays with expanded weekend and Election Day hours to provide information and assistance to voters.
“Today, we’re proud to open our Voter Protection Assistance Hotline as early voting for the primary election begins in Florida. Given the impact of Hurricane Debby resulting in delays at some early voting locations, it’s important to be able to provide voters with accurate information about how to cast their ballots safely,” said Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried.
“Over the next 15 days, Florida Democrats will be organizing across the state to mobilize our volunteers and voters and get out the vote in August. Everything from critical school board races to re-electing Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is on the ballot. We are working around the clock to get voters to the polls and elect Democrats in August.”
Visit iwillvote.com for more information and make a plan to vote. Mandatory early voting ends on August 17 or on August 18 in some counties. The primary election in Florida is Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
