“It’s a shame that Rep. Valdés chose to mislead her constituents instead of fighting for them,” said FDP Chair Nikki Fried. “Her decision to switch parties today is hypocritical and self-serving, as she joins the Republican Party of Florida, which has done nothing to solve the issues Floridians are facing.”
