FLORIDA DEMOCRATIC PARTY REMEMBERS THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE OCTOBER 7TH ATTACKS

Today marks two years since the horrific Hamas attack of October 7th, a day of loss that continues to reverberate through so many lives. The Chair of the Florida Democratic Party, Nikki Fried, said:

“We continue to mourn the innocent lives taken in the deadliest attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust, and call for the immediate release of all hostages and the return of the remains of those we have lost.  

The staggering toll on Israeli and Palestinian families over the last two years demands that Hamas accept the deal currently presented by the United States, Israel, and world leaders and bring an end to this war.” 

We denounce the rise in anti-Semitism and hate speech around the world. In the face of so much devastation, we must find the courage to demand peace, dignity, and security for all people because no family, anywhere, should have to endure this suffering.
