FLORIDA DEMOCRATIC PARTY SWING SENATE DISTRICT 11 RACE 22 POINTS

Republican Ralph Massullo has won Florida’s Senate District 11 race against Vietnam Veteran Ash Marwah. In response, the Florida Democratic Party has issued the following statement:

“Tonight, voters in SD 11 sent a clear message: Voters are done with the chaos from Republican leadership,” said FDP Chair Nikki Fried. 

“In a district Trump won by 40 points in 2024, Democrats swung this district by nearly 22 points by getting organized early and fighting for every vote.

This campaign was powered by grassroots organizers, and the Florida Democratic Party is committed to long-term organizing and strengthening party infrastructure and positioning ourselves to swing the pendulum back in our favor in 2026.”
