Jasmine Burney-Clark, is the Founder of Equal Ground Education Fund and Action Fund, Florida’s preeminent Black-led community-centered civic engagement organization prioritizing voter registration, education and turnout building Black political power. She has worked to expand equal access to the ballot box on behalf of Floridians through her role as a litigant in a series of voter suppression law suits. She started her career working for Alex Sink for Governor, she was a Senior Advisor to the NAACP(National), Geraldine Thompson for Senate, NextGen Climate(Tom Steyer), Florida Supreme Court Judicial Retention and Executive Director of the Florida 501c3 Civic Engagement Table where she advanced work by coordinating half a million voter registrants and raising millions of dollars to support statewide coordinated civic engagement programs that center Black Indigenous People of Color(BIPOC) communities. She’s a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University and FAMU, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc and a member of The Experience Christian Center.
Tiffany Hughes is the owner of Brite Hire, an operations management consulting firm whose commitment is to build small businesses and grow strong communities by working alongside entrepreneurs and corporate leadership to transform operational processes, administrative staffing, financial analysis and build capacity to scale. Tiffany is a graduate of the Florida International University, she has a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and will begin her Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) at Rollins College in the fall.
A steadfast community leader, Tiffany’s passion is women’s health. She is committed to helping Florida become one of the safest places for women to give birth and access comprehensive reproductive healthcare void of government interference into the very personal decisions of women and their families. She has served as Director of Philanthropy for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, led the Orange County NAACP, where she was elected the youngest president in branch history, and served as president of the Orange County League of Women Voters, one of the largest leagues in the country.
Tiffany is an Orlando Business Journal 40 under 40 honoree and was also honored as a 2023 OBJ Woman Who Mean Business. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and is a steward of Northland Church. Tiffany lives in Central Florida with her son, Legacy.
Jackie Lee is the founding partner of JLee Strategies, a top Florida consulting firm. She has been a part of leadership teams for Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns, managed the successful FairDistricts Amendment 5 and 6 and Felon’s Rights Restoration Amendment 4 campaigns and lead numerous coalition organizations. Jackie most recently served as a senior advisor and Florida State Director for the 2020 Biden for President Campaign.
Phillip Jerez currently serves as the Executive Director of the Florida Democratic Party. He previously worked as the Deputy Director of Engagement for the Surgeon General of the United States. Jerez has worked several cycles in Florida, including as Political Director for Charlie Crist for Governor, Campaign Manager for the Coalition for Black and Brown Ballot Access, and Deputy Political Director for Andrew Gillum for Governor. He also worked as a congressional aide to Rep. Wasserman Schultz and started his career as a high school history teacher in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
Adam Ginsburg is voter protection director for the Florida coordinated campaign. Adam has multiple cycles of experience voter protection, organizing, and communications experience in the voting rights and democracy reform space—including time at nonprofits and on campaigns. In 2022, he was deputy voter protection director for the Florida Democratic Party’s coordinated campaign and, most recently, worked in communications at the Campaign Legal Center, a nonpartisan voting rights organization. Prior to that, he also worked at FairVote and on coordinated campaigns in Georgia and Iowa.
Alison Berke Morano was vice chair and senior political adviser to the Florida Democratic Party (FDP) from 2012 to 2016, where she oversaw the Democrats’ vote-by-mail efforts. She also served as Chair of the Democratic County Chairs Association (DCCA), as Central Florida District Director for NextGen Florida, Executive Director for the Florida Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (FDLCC), and was a Strategic Advisor for the 2020 Biden for Florida Campaign.
Andrea Gomez is a Latina raised in both the Dominican Republic and the United States. She obtained her BA in Political Science from Florida International University and has worked on diverse roles in political campaigns across the US, ranging from grassroots organizing and COVID response to communications and volunteer management. Most recently, she worked as Text Organizer for the Democratic National Committee, where she contributed to the organizing team. Beyond her professional pursuits, Andrea loves to dance and trains in a dance called West Coast Swing.
Brittney has 10+ years of National, State, and Local campaign experience in Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia since 2010. In 2020, she served as the African American Vote Director for the Biden campaign in Florida. Brittney has been active with many community groups including the Democratic Black Caucus of Florida, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Young Democrats, League of Women Voters, NAACP, and formerly was an AFSCME union member when she worked for the State of Florida. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and her MBA from Florida A&M University.
Cramer’s community service journey began in Peru, inspired by his father’s roles in local government and as a business owner. He demonstrated exceptional abilities while pursuing his degree and honed his leadership skills as the president of a student nonprofit organization. After moving to Sarasota, he collaborated with various organizations to address crucial matters such as immigration policies. In his professional career, Cramer has gained experience working with notable organizations and is also an entrepreneur. His contributions to the community were acknowledged by U.S. Representative Darren Soto, resulting in the introduction of his biography to the United States Congressional Record.
Jackson Peel has spent the last five years as Communications Director in the Florida House Democratic Office. He’s crafted messaging through the pandemic, book bans, “Don’t Say Gay,” and the rise & fall of Ron DeSantis’ national ambitions. Jackson focuses on understanding what reporters need to do their job and works to provide content that fits their goals and ours. Prior to this, he worked at The Florida Channel for several years, giving him a useful knowledge of Florida political history.

As a native Venezuelan who grew up in South Florida, Karol is a seasoned political and communications professional, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. A proud graduate of Florida State University with a Master’s degree, Karol has dedicated over 10 years to political communications in the dynamic landscape of Florida. Her expertise extends across the Florida legislature, and statewide campaigns, and notably, she worked in the historic administration for Florida’s first Democratic female Commissioner of Agriculture. Karol most recently served as the Communications Director for U.S. House of Representatives Congresswoman, Frederica Wilson (FL-24) and LPAC. Utilizing her breadth of experience and passion for electing progressive candidates, she will work to further bring Florida home for Biden/Harris 2024 with her strategic insights and communications skills to contribute to the campaign’s continued success.
Krystal Spencer is an experienced campaign and nonprofit professional with over 6 years of experience spanning digital, digital organizing, finance,, and campaign management. In addition, she also has experience in creative media, including social media management. Last cycle, she served as the Digital Organizing Director for the Florida Democratic Party and she is elated to be back for the 2024 cycle! Outside of work, her hobbies are surfing, hiking and attending rodeos.
Kyle L. Alexandre, a Government and Industry Relations Manager with Walt Disney World, is a native New Yorker who relocated to Central Florida in 2006.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the esteemed Tuskegee University and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration of Human Resource Management from American
Intercontinental University. Since moving to Central Florida, Kyle has served as a Chief Legislative Aide in both the Florida Senate and House of Representatives. During Kyle’s tenure in the Florida legislature, she tackled complex policy issues, a notoriously fast-paced budget process, as well as community outreach at the state and local levels.
Laurence Khan was most recently a Senior Advisor for We Are Más, a multilingual and intercultural strategy firm specializing in countering disinformation, as well multiple FL US Congressional campaigns. He previously worked for combat veteran Adam Hattersley who flipped FL House District 59, and was the Integrated Communications Director for Hard Knocks Strategies, a leading South FL based voter contact firm which helped win back the White House and Senate for New Georgia Project Action Fund, elect the first Black Mayor of St. Petersburg, pass a $15 minimum wage for SEIU FL, and pass Amendment 4 for FL Rights Restoration Coalition. Prior to that, he advised the Rockefeller Foundation on digital strategy, and worked on distributed digital for Beto O’Rourke’s record-breaking digital-first 2018 Senate campaign, flipping the largest GOP county in the country after 35 years. Laurence worked on global and national campaigns for over a decade, including influencer campaigns with the UN, the world’s leading PR firm in the faith arena, and multi-award winning issue campaigns.
After graduating from Florida State University in 2019 Millie moved to Jacksonville and quickly got involved in numerous activist organizations including The Jacksonville Young Democrats. It was there that she realized her love of connecting with fellow young adults to ensure they were educated on the electoral process. Five years later, she is now the President of the Jacksonville Young Democrats, Northeast Regional Director for the Florida Young Democrats and a proud member of the Florida Democratic Party’s Youth Council. Millie’s passion lies in ensuring that the next generation’s voice is heard and is excited to bring that passion to ensuring President Biden and Vice President are re-elected.
A veteran political and community organizer for over 15 years, Milton has worked on more than a dozen electoral and community campaigns since graduating with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from Florida State University. He brings a wealth of experience in communications, coalition-building, and field organizing, including serving as Hispanic Coalitions Director for Secretary Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. He has also worked on various issue-based campaigns for many organizations, including Enroll America, Hispanic Federation, Bring It Home Florida, and most recently, the United Teachers of Dade. As a result of this experience, he is most passionate about ensuring marginalized communities have access to affordable health care, quality public education, and the right to vote.

He is an innovator with over fifteen years of Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Project Management experience. He seeks solutions for every task at hand through thought partnership, business development, change management, and strategic planning. In turn, Quinten has been recognized as being a Change Maker in leading transformative Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives as well as Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Initiatives bridging gaps between organizations and the communities they served.
Rhetta Peoples received her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. She currently creates media ads, documentaries and animated short films. Rhetta also works with media outlets to place and negotiate media buys for various clients. Rhetta is married and has one child.
With two decades working in the realm of politics, advocacy, and activism, Takeata King Pang is a steadfast force for social change. From orchestrating campaigns around the country to assuming pivotal leadership roles in her hometown of Palm Beach County, she has dedicated herself to advancing causes like women’s equality and racial justice. Following impactful roles at Planned Parenthood and as Chief of Staff to a Florida State Senator, Takeata took the reins of the Women’s Foundation of Florida in 2019, overseeing a period of remarkable growth, doubling its reach and impact. Armed with a Master’s in Political Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science, Communications and Theatre Arts from Stetson University, Takeata embodies a potent blend of expertise, passion, and unwavering dedication to effecting tangible change.
Travis Brooks was born and raised in the Orlando area, he studied Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. During that time he volunteered for the 2008 Obama campaign registering his fellow students to vote. Because of his CS background, he took over data entry for the UCF field office and eventually managed all of the data for the office. He has worked as Deputy Data Director for Virginia during the 2012 Obama campaign and as Data/Field Director for a congressional race. Travis has held the title of Florida Data Director for NextGen Climate in 2014, NAACP in 2018, and State Voices Florida from 2019-2024.
