FLORIDA DEMOCRATIC PARTY ANNOUNCES LATEST TAKE BACK LOCAL SLATE FOR NOVEMBER ELECTIONS
Today, the Florida Democratic Party announced its slate of Take Back Local candidates for the November 2025 elections. The Take Back Local program is an initiative to provide resources to candidates in competitive local races across the state. Five candidates, selected through a rigorous application and vetting process, will receive grassroots organizing and fundraising support from the Florida Democratic Party.
“The Take Back Local program is a way of investing in our candidates all the way down the ballot,” said FDP Chair Nikki Fried. “It’s crucial to invest in these competitive races and grow our bench because more than ever, local elections are impacting Floridians’ everyday lives. From property taxes to essential services, local elected officials’ vital work ensures we can all grow and thrive.”

The Take Back Local slate for the November 2025 elections includes:
- Bryan Bain, Clermont City Council, Seat 2
- Chris Dzadovsky, Fort Pierce City Commission, District 2, Seat 2
- Kristen Rosen Gonzalez, Miami Beach Mayor
- Laura Dominguez, Miami Beach City Commission, Group 2
- Alex Fernandez, Miami Beach City Commission, Group 3
