Florida Democratic Party Congratulates Chris Dzadovsky on Flipping Fort Pierce Commission

Tonight, Chris Dzadovsky was elected to the Fort Pierce City Commission in District 2, Seat 2, defeating Jaimebeth Galinis and flipping the commission to Democratic control. In response, the Florida Democratic Party has issued the following statement:

“I’m thrilled to congratulate Commissioner-elect Chris Dzadovsky on this incredible victory,” said FDP Chair Nikki Fried. “Fort Pierce had a choice — in the aftermath of a disgraced elected official’s departure from the Commission, they have chosen an experienced, ethical, and community focused leader in Chris. With this victory, which has flipped the Commission to a more Democratic body, Fort Pierce will have an opportunity to truly thrive with stronger small businesses, cleaner waterways, and increased public safety.
