NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC GROUPS INVEST $7.5 MILLION IN FLORIDA RACES AHEAD OF NOVEMBER ELECTION

TALLAHASSEE, FL – National Democratic organizations are making major investments in Florida ahead of November’s election, with at least $7.5 million in announced commitments and reported spending across key races.

“National Democrats are putting real money behind Florida because they see what we’ve been building on the ground for the last three years,” said Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried. “We’ve flipped 48 seats from red to blue, recruited more than 1,000 candidates, and built an organizing operation that’s competing in communities Republicans have taken for granted for far too long.

“These investments are proof that the country is paying attention and that Florida is worth fighting for. We have the candidates, the momentum, and the grassroots infrastructure to Take Back Florida. Now we’re bringing the resources to match.”

The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) announced a $5 million investment to support José Javier Rodríguez in his race for Florida Attorney General. DAGA President Sean Rankin called the investment just the beginning of the organization’s support and said the group sees a clear path to victory.

The announcement comes as Democratic super PAC American Bridge has reportedly spent $2.5 million in Florida’s U.S. Senate race, part of a broader $22.7 million investment across 77 House and Senate races nationwide.

Together, the investments signal growing national attention on Florida, where Democrats are competing to break decades of Republican control and deliver new leadership focused on lowering costs and holding those in power accountable.
